Difference in protests

For some reason, the left doesn’t like protests.  It seems that dissent is no longer the highest form of patriotism.  Well, dissent is one thing, apostasy and heresy is another.  Dispute with the O, their god, is punishable by death.

The Krugster, in his latest blog post, seems to dispute that notion that protests opposing social security reform in 2005 are the same as what’s going now opposing the O’s health care scheme.

He’s actually correct, but alas, not in a way he’d understand.

See, the problem is that in 2005, you had parasites demanding more theft, more redistribution. What they feared was the government would start stealing less and giving them less stolen booty.

In 2009, these are the victims of the theft.  Leviathan is coming for their wealth, their health, their property, their liberty.  Yeah, I’d say they’re not quite the same.

Not even close.
