Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says the U.S. must cut the annual federal budget deficit, now more than $1 trillion, for the economy to have a sustained recovery and he’s not ruling out new taxes.
I bet he will. Funny, on O’s resume, which I figure could fit on a 3×5 index card (with plenty of room to spare), is constitutional law professor. I think that’s a lie. It’s apparent that he’s never read the document. Congress alone can raise taxes.
But pesky little things like the constitution never seem to matter leviathan. Where are all those who shrieked at the Bush administration’s fast and loose attitude towards the constitution?
