Can’t give if you don’t take first

“Or do they want this country . . . to go another several decades without doing what every other serious country has done. Which is to give their citizens access to basic quality of care,” Geithner said.

Being “forced” to give.  That’s called theft.

I’ll give Timmy a little credit.  There’s everything serious with this.  It will destroy our health care system.

It is a fact that the only real and valuable medical research occurs in the US because of a private (sort of) market.  Take that away (by force) and people will die.

It is a fact that we have the very best medical care in the world.  Take that away (by force) and people will die.

It is also a fact that nations with single payer, or any other form of socialized medicine, ration care, deny treatments, and simply kick people off the waiting lists.  And people die.  And they will die here too.

It is a fact that the rest of the world has a parasitic relationship with the US health care.  Our advances by extension serve the rest of the world.  Take that away (by force) and many more people will die.

Death at that hand of government.  By force.  Hopenchange.
